Monday 20th October 10.30am 'From Sickert to Gertler' Lecture and Exhibition
Tate Curator Robert Upston will examine the origins and aims of the 1911 Camden Town Group - including Walter Sickert, Spencer Gore, Harold Gilman, Charles Ginner and Robert Bevan.
Also the social and historical context of the London in which they made their art featuring chars and coster girls; chilly cab men; nudes in shabby bedrooms; suburban streets and the music hall.

Nuit Blanche 2008 Paris
Those lucky enough to be destined for Paris this weekend can take advantage of Nuit Blanche (literally 'White Night' or 'All Nighter,') the annual programme of free entertainment and events first instituted by Deputy Mayor of Paris, Christophe Giraud in 2002, which lasts from sundown until sunrise on the first Saturday and Sunday in October.

Wyndham Lewis Portraits showcases the portraiture of father-of-Vorticism, Wyndham Lewis.
